Timings for the school day
Our school day
Where you need to be, when. Simple timings to keep everything on track. For off-schedule trips and events we’ll communicate clearly in advance.
Extending the school day with wrap-around care
We understand that parents have busy schedules, so we have excellent wrap-around care available to support you. Sessions both before and after school can be booked in advance.
Breakfast club
- Runs from 7.30 am to 8.00am
- Costs £2.50 per meal
- Children go straight to the dining room
Breakfast is available for any pupil throughout the week which helps parents juggling an early start. Options for hot food, continental breakfast or cereal mean that children start the day with a full tummy.
Prep: Homework club
- Runs from 4.30pm to 5.00pm
We encourage Prep school children to stay for this supervised session as it helps pupils develop independent study skills. Available each evening, other than on exeats and on the days we break up for holidays.
Aftercare tea
- Runs from 5.00pm to 6.00pm
- Costs £7.00 per meal
- Children need to be collected from the dining room by 6.00pm
For Pre-Prep children only, every day of the week (with the exception of exeat Fridays and on the days we break up for holidays). This will be a hot meal on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and a cold buffet meal on Wednesday and Friday.
Supper
- Runs from 6.00pm to 6.30pm
- Costs £4.00 per meal
- Children need to be collected from the dining room by 6.30pm
For Prep School children only and available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. A substantial hot, two course meal is provided. Supper is supervised by the duty staff.
Exeat weekends
Exeat weekends happen approximately every third weekend. On these weekends there are no school activities, plus (like half term) Friday afternoon collection is at the end of the school day as no clubs or extra-curricular activities take place.
Friday collection times (for half term and exeat weekends)
- Pre-prep, 4.00pm
- Sibling club runs until 4.30pm
- Prep, 4.30pm

At the start of each term we issue a calendar card – a useful prompt to get key dates into your diary. Plus our digital calendar means you’ll know exactly what’s on.
