One of our most popular extra-curricular activities, weekly dance classes come in all shapes and sizes and are very much open to all.

Classical to contemporary
From Reception to Year 2, weekly dance lessons are a much-loved part of the curriculum. In addition, ballet, jazz, tap and hip-hop are all on offer as individual or group classes. We have a huge (and growing) number of children who take part in external dance exams plus many opportunities to dazzle us with dance skills on stage.

Dance tuition
Our incredibly popular dance lessons are taught by talented professionals at a standard comparable to a specialised dance school.
Students follow a syllabus from either The Royal Academy of Dance, The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance or The British Theatre Dance Association.
Styles include ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and boys' dance. There’s a host of opportunities to perform and compete but the emphasis is placed on encouraging confidence, musicality and a joy of dance as a physical activity.
