Purchasing new uniform
We’re going to be phasing in our exciting uniform updates up until September 2025. Our new uniform provider is Schoolblazer. They have a simple online ordering system, with guidance on sizing and a free name taping service and free returns.
Our second-hand shop
Buying pre-loved uniform
Our popular pre-loved uniform shop at The Downs is run by the DSA. It’s well stocked and we’re sure you’ll be able to find most items you need, so do get in touch to arrange a time to browse items and try things on.
Did you know?
You can leave any pre-loved clothing donations in our DSA shed in the woodland car park.

Uniform expectation
We want everyone to look the part so we ask all children attending The Downs to wear our school uniform.
Summer uniform is worn throughout the Summer term and from the start of the Autumn term until the half-term break in October.
When the children are in school uniform it is important that they look smart and tidy because they are representing the school. School blazers should be worn to and from school each day.
Dress smart for events
When participating in school concerts and other formal events, all the children are expected to wear formal uniform. The school will always communicate when formal uniform is required so don't worry!
Non-uniform days
There are a few days throughout the year when children can come to school without uniform. We’ll keep you posted when a non-uniform day has been scheduled.
